Dr Tim Brock is the Human Performance
Engineering Manager of the Science and Learning team at Lockheed
Martin Global Training and Logistics. He supervises and actively
leads multiple national and international initiatives to close
human performance gaps within military, government, and civilian
(to include healthcare) organizations integrating systems
technologies with human performance improvement technologies.
Tim is a retired Air Force officer who was repeatedly selected
for training and education duties throughout his career. After
retiring, Tim has enjoyed a diverse range of leadership
experiences as a K5-12 private school principal, a private
college director of education, and an international consultant
and train-the-trainer workshop facilitator. Tim has a PhD in
Education from Capella University with a specialization in
Training and Performance Improvement. Tim is also a Certified
Performance Technologist.
Dr. Peggy Meli is an Instructional Systems Design and
Training Performance Consultant with Lockheed Martin Global
Training and Logistics Orlando, FL. Her team recently received
an internal research and development award for development of
Healthcare Professional Training Design and Prototype
Development. Dr. Meli has over 25 years experience in Health
Information Management (HIM), education and training. Her
previous positions include HIM educator, MIS trainer and
instructional design consultant. Dr. Meli has her PhD in
Education Technology, Instructional Design Track from University
of Central Florida in 2008, a MS in Health Sciences and her BS
in Medical Record Administration from the University of Central
Florida. She is credentialed as a Registered Health Information
Administrator (RHIA) from AHIMA and a Licensed Healthcare Risk
Manager in the State of Florida.
