Description:

FHIMA is offering a refresher fully online anatomy and physiology course for coders in anticipation of ICD-10-CM and ICD-10-PCS. (This course is not for college credit.)

We will use the user friendly electronic textbook by Patton and Thibodeau, Anatomy & Physiology, 7th Edition. This A&P electronic textbook features full-color illustrations and a conversational writing style. The textbook focuses on concepts rather than descriptions to help you understand the information. Patton and Thibodeau facilitate the comprehension of difficult material with thorough, consistent, and non-intimidating explanations that are free of unnecessary terminology and extraneous information.

The A&P Online course is set up in 24 learning modules that will be self paced with quizzes along the way to measure progress. Information is provided by body systems to improve comprehension. The electronic textbook can be downloaded onto your computer for future reference upon completion of the course.

Course content is intended to serve as a refresher course only. This anatomy and physiology refresher course does not qualify for college credit.

Access Instructions:

2-3 business days before the scheduled class starts, you will receive an email from FHIMA that contains 3 access codes (one is the course ID, one code is for the online textbook and the other code is access to the online course). Further instructions will be given on accessing the course in that email.

Refunds & Cancellations:
