FHIMA Medical Coding & Certification Online Courses

Earn 10 AHIMA CEU’s by completing FHIMA Diagnostic Coding or Procedure Coding Online course while preparing for your Coding Certification exam, a new job role, or refreshing your coding knowledge and practice. Course content is mapped to AHIMA’s CCS and CCS-P and the AAPC’s CPC and CPC-H exam content with inpatient and outpatient case studies for practice.

Courses Offered: Diagnostic Coding Course (ICD-10-CM) and Procedure Coding Course (ICD-10-PCS, CPT®, HCPCS Level II).

Prerequisites: Knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Enrollment period: August 27, 2018 through October 22, 2018.

Course Hours/CEU’s: 30 contact hours, 10 CEU’s (ratio of 3 hours = 1CEU)

Length of Course: To be completed at student’s own pace within a 10 week period or less. Enrollment date begins within 48 hours of purchase. One 4-week extension may be requested in extenuating circumstances.

CEU Certificate: In order to receive the CEU certificate, students must successfully complete the course within the allotted time by scoring an average of 80% or higher on all Module quizzes.
