HIM Roundtable: “Don’t Manage – Inspire. Leadership in a Changing HIM Environment”

When employees are inspired, teams and organizations have higher productivity and better outcomes, even in times of tremendous change. Leadership is no longer about managing – it is about inspiring. In “Don’t Manage – Inspire. Leadership in a Changing HIM Environment”, leaders will explore best practices in leading through inspiration – a key leadership competency to motivate others in times of change.
Allison Craft, Ph.D., is the Organization Development Manager for Nemours Children’s Health System, one of the nation’s largest integrated pediatric healthcare systems. Since joining Nemours in 2012, Allison has worked to engender an organizational culture focused on engagement through the design, implementation, and facilitation of associate and leadership development programs.
In addition to her work with Nemours, Allison is an Associate Professor of I/O Psychology for the University of Central Florida. She is currently conducting a grant-funded research project for application of gamification techniques to improve workplace behavioral cohesiveness. In addition, she collaborates with the UCF Center for Autism to use gamification in interventions for children with autism to help children learn social skills through playing Dungeons and Dragons.
Allison is also able to use her expertise in the areas of employee engagement and cultural alignment as an external consultant for Disney University and NBCUniversal where she works to increase intact team functioning and organizational effectiveness.
Prior to joining Nemours, Allison provided consultation and developed training programs for frontline associate development and change management techniques for managers for a number of organizations, including Walt Disney Parks and Resorts, Electronic Arts (EA), Universal Pictures, and NASA.
Allison was born in New York, NY. She earned her undergraduate degrees from New York University, her Master’s degree in Human Resource Development with a concentration in Organization Development from the University of Alabama, and her doctorate in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of Central Florida.
She and her husband, Tim, live in Orlando, FL with their two dogs.

This webinar will be available on-demand. This means that webinar will be recorded and sent out to all paid registrants, even if they register after the live webinar has occurred, or if they cannot make the time and date set for the live webinar.
Cancellations for paid registrations must be made in writing and sent to firstname.lastname@example.org eight business days before the meeting and will be subject to a 50% processing fee. Cancellations received after this time period will forfeit the entire registration fee. No Substitutions allowed. The person who is named in the registration must be the person accessing the course and completing the course materials and quizzes.
When you register online, you will have the option to pay by mail with a check or pay online with a credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover).
If you are paying by check, select “mail a check” under payment options. You will later see instructions to print the confirmation page and mail your payment to KnowledgeConnex. The mailing address will be on the invoice. Make your check payable to KnowledgeConnex and include the confirmation/order number with the check. Checks that do not reference the confirmation number will be returned to you and will not be applied to the registration.
