Dr. Shelley C. Safian has been teaching Health Care Administration, Health Information Management, Health Informatics, and Medical Billing and Coding, both onsite and online, for more than 15 years.
Safian writes several articles each year on various aspects of coding. In addition, she is the author of six textbooks. Her latest books, “The Complete Diagnosis Coding Solution, 3rd edition”, “The Complete Procedure Coding Solution, 3rd edition”, and “You Code It! 3rd edition” were released by McGraw Hill in late 2015. Her latest book, “Let’s Code It!” was just released by McGraw Hill in late January 2018.
She is a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Health Care Information Security and Privacy Professional (HCISPP), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS-P), AAPC-Approved Instructor (COC, CPC-I), and an AHIMA-Approved ICD-10-CM/PCS Trainer.

Cancellations for paid registrations must be made in writing and sent to email@example.com eight business days before the meeting and will be subject to a 50% processing fee. Cancellations received after this time period will forfeit the entire registration fee. No Substitutions allowed. The person who is named in the registration must be the person accessing the course and completing the course materials and quizzes.
When you register online, you will have the option to pay by mail with a check or pay online with a credit card (AMEX, MasterCard, Visa, or Discover).
If you are paying by check, select “mail a check” under payment options. You will later see instructions to print the confirmation page and mail your payment to KnowledgeConnex. The mailing address will be on the invoice. Make your check payable to KnowledgeConnex and include the confirmation/order number with the check. Checks that do not reference the confirmation number will be returned to you and will not be applied to the registration.
