Andrea Pringle, is a Senior Health Informatics and Information Management student at Florida A&M University in Tallahassee, FL. Ms. Pringle currently serves as the President of the FAMU Student Health Informatics and Information Management Association as well as a Student Liaison on the Florida Health Information Management Association Board of Directors. Upon obtaining her Bachelor of Sciences degree from Florida A&M University, she plans to become a Health Information Management Director and Privacy Officer. She is a member of the American Health Information Management Association and Florida Health Information Management Association. Ms. Pringle believes that we must be committed, passionate and willing to take risks to reach our full potential and that fear is not an option.

FHIMA BGT Student Initiative Committee: Co – Chair
Jessyca Dew is a class of 2013 graduate of the Health Informatics and Information Management program at Florida A&M University (FAMU).
Shortly after graduation, she was hired at Parallon Business Performance Group into the Health Information Service Center’s Management Trainee Program. Since her tenure with the organization, Jessyca has received two promotions. In 2014, she was hired as the Director of Health Information Management, and the Facility Privacy Official at University Hospital and Medical Center in Tamarac, FL. In 2017, she received another promotion and currently oversees the HIM Department and the Privacy Program for Fawcett Memorial Hospital and Englewood Community Hospital.
Jessyca has been an active member of FHIMA since 2011, and served on several committees. She is now serving as a Co – Chair for the FHIMA Bridging the GAP Student Initiative Committee.
